I'm seeing this problem as well. Was a bug ever opened on this issue?

Z-Push Zimbra Backend (Push Email, Contacts, Appointments & Tasks)
I am getting more confused by the minute about your scenario. When you install zimbra as normal, it sets up its own jetty web server which listens on port 80 and/or 443. If you want to front-end with apache, you first move the zimbra jetty ports to non-standard...

Z-Push Zimbra Backend (Push Email, Contacts, Appointments & Tasks)

In the proxy system case, on which system does php-curl need to be installed?
I'm assuming it needs to be installed on the outer web-server that is accepting the connection and forwarding to the internal zimbra host. Does that sound right?

Z-Push Zimbra Backend (Push Email, Contacts, Appointments & Tasks)
I am assuming you can log into the web client successfully through https://yourmailserver:8889 - as this would be a pre-requisite. If so, then take a look at this thread. http://www.zimbra.com/forums/installation/6109-zimbra-https-proxy-apache.html#post32941[/U...

Z-Push Zimbra Backend (Push Email, Contacts, Appointments & Tasks)
How have you set up your proxy on the gentoo machine ? Is it doing SSL connections ? z-push is installed on gentoo -right ? Are you using http mode authentication on zimbra - or https ?
Thanks so much for taking the time to help out... I appreciate it...

Z-Push Zimbra Backend (Push Email, Contacts, Appointments & Tasks)

So I wasn't ever able to figure this out.... I'm hoping someone can help point me in the right direction. As I previously stated, I'm running zimbra inside an ubuntu chroot running on top of Gentoo. I realize that's not remotely a standard configuration, but just pretend it's two machines where the ...

Z-Push Zimbra Backend (Push Email, Contacts, Appointments & Tasks)

Thanks for the advice, I'll look into those two dependencies. Hopefully that will resolve this problem.
Thanks again.

Z-Push Zimbra Backend (Push Email, Contacts, Appointments & Tasks)

Thanks for the quick reply! The machine in question is running gentoo with zimbra running inside a ubuntu chroot. I have php installed with soap support but I suspect there's some other missing dependencies I need to install or additional features I need to enable when installing php. I'm not famili...
