Re: Zimbra 7.1.1. and BESX 5.0.3 Issues

I just ran into exactly the same issue two weeks ago. The issue started with the SSL certificate expiring on the Zimbra server and the new certificate being SHA2 instead of SHA1. That broke the entire Zimbra/BES setup and turned into a two week nightmare of trial&error and upgrades. Oddly enough...

Zimbra 7.1.1. and BESX 5.0.3 Issues

Hi Glauco, I communicated with the support tech again and they gave me some additional background info. If I'm following correctly, the issue is related to OLMAPI32.DLL and EMSMDB32.DLL in conjunction with the BlackBerryServer and BlackBerryServer_MailStoreProfile profiles. During the upgrade proces...

Zimbra 7.1.1. and BESX 5.0.3 Issues

Hi Glauco, I followed your lead and reverted back to an old backup (BES 4.1.6), turned off automatic updates completely, installed SP2 for Office 2007 using the manual file, then upgraded to BES 4.1.7 (a prereq for 5.x), and then finally installed ZCB 6.5.7 and upgraded to BES 5.0.2 (thinking that t...

Zimbra 7.1.1. and BESX 5.0.3 Issues

Hi Glauco, Were you able to find any solution to this issue? We're experiencing the same "MAPIMailbox::MAPIMailbox - OpenMsgStore (0x80040107) failed" problem, also with BES 5.0.3 We're attempting to run Zimbra server 6.0.8 with ZCB 6.5.6 and BES 5.0.3 which from the documentation appears ...

Moto Droid Bionic and Activesync, can't send outgoing with ZCS6.0.8NE

Problem solved. The user figured it out separately and said he just had to delete the default/standard account so that only the corp sync account was remaining and then he was able to send without a problem.

Moto Droid Bionic and Activesync, can't send outgoing with ZCS6.0.8NE

I have a user who just purchased a Motorola Droid Bionic. He was able to go through the procedure for configuring a MS Exchange (Activesync) account and the sync went fine for his email, calendar, and contacts. The only issue is that he can't send outgoing email from the device. Anyone run into the ...

occasional imapsync invalid date format error

Thanks for the quick reply. I also noticed that the troublesome messages are within hour range of the new year, accounting for timezone offset. We're in the Eastern timezone (UTC-5 in December) and all of the troublesome messages are within 5 hours of midnight on Dec 31st. So, I'm assuming it's some...

occasional imapsync invalid date format error

Hi Oayfer,
Oddly enough, I just ran into the same thing. Any luck figuring out what was causing it?
The user in question here is migrating from Dovecot as well, so maybe it's somehow related to Dovecot? Or maybe a bug in imapsync?
Thanks,

Brian

Disable harvest defense in 6.0.2? (DEFEND_ACCOUNT_HARVEST)

It's not really a fix but a workaround is to ask users to uncheck the checkbox underneath the Subject line that says "Send this message on behalf of...". It most often occurs when someone saves a message as a draft and then goes back the Drafts folder and then tries to click Send. As far a...

No more Canonical Address.. and now?

I very much agree with all of the previous complaints. Our site has ~30k active zimbra accounts (plus many more inactive) and we use the canonical address religiously to provision accounts differently depending on which college/department they're in. Removing the canonical address feature would be a...
