Re: Sender domain showing networksolution.com causing massive deferrals...
A bit of an update, I found that networksolution.com aliases to networksolutions.com. Also it seems as the bounces have stopped, just needed to make there way through I suppose. I've toned down my script to every 5 seconds. Still alarming, I'm no mail admin however I do check the server fairly often.

Sender domain showing networksolution.com causing massive deferrals...
As of this AM, I'm getting several bounces causing thousands upon thousands of deferred emails. The receiver domain is showing as; networksolution.com The receiver address is; noreply@networksolution.com The sender address is; mailer-daemon For now I'm running a script as root every second (simple l...

Re: Mail server is sending out a large number of spam emails from locked account
Hello, First off I feel your pain. I had a similar situation where I simply emptied out the deferred queue of that deactivated user. Read here for general info on how to do this; https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/How_to_delete_e-mails_from_deferred_queue_sent_by_a_particular_account In my case the closed...

Occasional odd deferred error
Hello, I'm running 8.8.15_GA_4717.FOSS without issue... mostly. And my OS is Centos 7.9.2009. Unsure when it started and for how long as I've been running Zimbra since v5. But I'm seeing a deferred error on occasion and the emails do eventually go through. The below error is in regards to a local do...

Re: Odd local sender servalertSOMEALPHANUMERIC-com@mydomain.com
Hello Mark and thank you for the reply and link. The link shows everything with a green check mark so it's good to verify my work. However after posting my issue, I kept watching the queues and while the sending addresses were all showing that odd servalert sender sending SPAMs, I did notice a quick...

Odd local sender servalertSOMEALPHANUMERIC-com@mydomain.com
Hello, I've been running Zimbra open source since 2008ish and things seem well enough. My current version is 8.8.15_GA_4481.FOSS. I get daily reports emailed to me and I peruse the Zimbra admin UI daily looking at my mail queues and things have been fairly quiet. A while back I did implement SPF, DK...

Re: Zimbra 8.8.15 Patch-35 - share experience
I'm unsure about it. It no longer liked my Zimbra admin password having a $ in it. I also started to get frequent Server Configuration Error messages which never happened before. I'm going to try and get some one from some sort of Zimbra oriented professional services company to look at what I did t...

Re: Upgrade 8.6 to 8.7 mysql not starting
BINGO, this fix did it for me too.
Thank you VERY much for posting the fix.
The various log files I was looking at said that it was already running etc... so i was in an endless loop.
Thanks again, total relief!

Setting default COS
Hi all, So I have been adding users to Zimbra via a modified zmexternaldrisync w/o issue for years now. However i wish to future proof this methodology as it works in 5.X, but unsure if it will work in 8.X as I have been planning and testing the upgrade path. I have yet to test zmexternaldirsync but...
