Attachment handling question
My users are having some problems (or at least questions) working with attachments in Zimbra. If they use Firefox, they can specify how each type of attachment is handled (saved to disk, opened by a specific app, or handled by a plug-in). However, many of them use Zimbra Desktop also, because it all...

OS X - copy already open
I can verify that this is still an issue even with the "official" release of Zimbra Desktop on the Mac. I have had to go to each of our 40 user machines, log out, log in as admin, make them an admin, log out, log in as that user, install the new version, log out, log in as admin, set them ...

Can't install for Mac non-admin users
Another thread I started came up with an answer to fix another issue, but it seems to have helped this one, too. While I still have to make the user an admin to do the installation, I can make Zimbra Desktop start up properly by doing the following: cd /Users/username/Library sudo chmod 755 LaunchAg...

Need constant re-installation on OS X
Thank you VERY, VERY much! I changed the permissions on that folder (using "chmod 0755 /Users/myusername/Library/LaunchAgents") and it fixed the problem. It also fixed another big problem for me--I couldn't get non-admin users to run Zimbra Desktop, and after applying that change, it worke...

Need constant re-installation on OS X
On startup after Software Update, this from the console log: ================================ 3/4/09 9:47:59 AM com.apple.launchctl.Aqua[277] launchctl: Dubious permissions on file (skipping): /Users/myusername/Library/LaunchAgents ================================ And later, when trying to start up ...

Need constant re-installation on OS X
I attached the files you requested (edited for privacy--changed user and domain names only). Had to zip the installation.log to get it to upload, etc. When trying to start up Zimbra Desktop after restart, got this in console log: ==================================== 3/4/09 9:49:04 AM [0x0-0x21021].c...

Can't install for Mac non-admin users
I have at least two users running 1.0 who are working as non-admins, and another one I found today who's running 0.91 and works OK too. So it's not that nobody can run if they're a non-admin; it's inconsistent. Thanks for the tip on disabling the auto-update; I guess I need to do that. One of those ...

Need constant re-installation on OS X
I don't know if anyone has run across this one. I'm running ZD 1.0 on Mac OS X 10.5.6. I use ZD as my primary mail program, and generally it works fine. However, I have to uninstall and reinstall it at least once or twice a week. It seems that if I run Software Update (especially one that requires m...
