8.0.2 Community Edition - no longer allows SMTP auth users send email - RBL blocked
given that you've not 'polluted' your setup using other-than-UI, can you check/verify what _your_ setup returns for: zmprov gacf | grep -i zimbraMtaRestriction zmprov gs `zmhostname` | grep -i zimbraMtaRestriction zmlocalconfig | grep -i zimbraMtaRestriction ? upda...

When I add RBLs I just use the web interface. This auth bug exists in that manner as well.

cannot disable X-Originating-IP in 8.0.2
So I had to remove "zen.spamhaus.org" from RBL to pass mail thru.
That is how I am getting around the bug over here. I hope it gets fixed soon.

I have this same issue. Look at this output of zmmtactl reload. Does this give any clues? It says "unused parameter." $ zmmtactl reload Rewriting configuration files...done. /opt/zimbra/postfix/sbin/postconf: warning: /opt/zimbra/postfix-2.10-20121007.2z/conf/main.cf: unused parameter: per...

Disallow reply to Distribution Lists
Please open a ticket about it. I'm running a production OSS system and it would be nice to get milter working.
If they are able to get your system working try to figure out what they did. If you cant maybe that will get the devs on it for the general release.

You ran into that issue too? This must be a bug in the Ubuntu 12.04 LTS version of Zimbra. I fired up a CentOS install and the distribution list restrictions and milter service all worked perfectly. How to we get the devs to work on fixing this?

You need to enable the milter service on the MTA page and follow these instructions based on the exact permissions you want to have.

I just upgraded to Release 8.0.0.GA.5434.UBUNTU12.64 UBUNTU12_64 FOSS edition. Everything worked straight away but I now I need to create come distribution lists with sender controls. I understand that I need to enable the milter service. When I did this all mail delivery stopped. I made sure that i...

zmconfigd CRITICAL [26177-MainThread-2]
The thing is Zimbra works for a day or two but then it will stop and need to be restarted before it will work for an additional day or two. I use the normal su zimbra, zmcontrol restart commands.
