ZD change user app data store location

Ah, sorry about that - that's because we are using folder redirection - %APPDATA% points to where we redirected the Application Data so that we could centrally manage our users' data and allow them to switch between Windows and Linux desktops. As you found out, you can hard code it to a specific loc...

ZD change user app data store location

ZD change user app data store location

It's been a while since I looked at this but, if I recall correctly, the default location does make sense; it just didn't make sense for us. The idea is to keep it out of the roaming profile so that a user's 3GB mailbox does not try to transfer across a WAN connection every time they connect. That i...

Asterisk PBX Integration Zimlet

See comment #175. It's still not really fixed but that does provide a workaround - John

Unable to launch Zimbra Desktop

This has been absolutely maddening and inconsistent. After failing to install zimlets from the command line in our multi-user Windows Server 2003 RDS as documented in http://www.zimbra.com/forums/general-questions/15925-add-flickr-zimlet.html all users lost access to ZDC. Moreover, we already had us...

Add Flickr Zimlet

After having done run this failing command, users could no longer open ZDC. After a maddening, inconsistent, and hours long effort at trying to restore access which I will record under http://www.zimbra.com/forums/general-questions/52504-unable-launch-zimbra-desktop.html we were able to get users ru...

Zimbra Desktop and Server 2008 RDS

I believe this reboot was not due to Zimbra. Unfortunately, I have needed to uninstall and re-install again battling another problem but have not been prompted for a reboot. It may have been a remnant upgrade of some other application such as flash.
