Hi, We had this issue too with our NETWORK-7.1.4_GA_2555.UBUNTU10_64 (cs-patch-7.1.4_GA_2568) installation. So far I went back to funambol-7.1.1.bin and the previous version of the plugin (ZimbraConnector_0.5.02.s4j) and it works with no problem.
In order to keep stability can't risk to break down our zimbra, hence we have funambol in a separate box. Later will do more testing in a VM.
