Re: rewrite source addresses that send to a distribution list

How do I set it up in practice? So far, every forwarding mechanism fails... I've set up an account and have tried both: Prefs -> Mail -> Message Arrival: Forward a copy to: and Prefs -> Filters -> Incoming Filters -> (conditions) -> Perform Actions =Redirect to Address and both of them retain the or...

rewrite source addresses that send to a distribution list

I have an alias (list) set up to relay mails to several people as a group. ie. myfriends@example.com The problem I am running into is that my SMTP relay provider won't relay emails that come from domains that aren't mine. For example, if friend@gmail.com sends an email to myfriends@example.com, it g...

patch downloads

Are patch bundles still available for manual download? ie. instead of using the online repositories? I used to download files like... zcs-8.8.15_GA_3953.RHEL8_64.20200629025823.tgz ...but I can't seem to find them anymore. I'm trying to find the p39 bundle. If anyone can point me where I can downloa...

Re: hide internal relaying from external messages

Why do you think the headers are a problem? Basically they're need to confirm the details and check your email & server are legitimate. External entities don't need to check the legitimacy of my internal servers. They only need to verify the legitimacy of the server that actually connects to th...

hide internal relaying from external messages

Hi All, When I send an email to someone, the headers they get show an awful lot of internal stuff... for example: Received: from zimbra.example.com (zimbra.example.com [10.10.10.10]) by example.com (8.15.2+Sun/8.15.2) with ESMTP id 245HcPsN029453 for <touser@live.com>; Thu, 5 May 2022 13:38:25 -0400...

Re: crontab entries

Thank you! That was a big help, but I ran into one problem....

The instructions say to run "zmschedulebackup -D", but that command does not exist on my 8.8.15p31 server. Is there a different command I should run instead?

crontab entries

Hi all, I just moved my 8.8.15 system from RH6 to RH8... that went pretty well and was mostly uneventful, but I have a question about cronjobs. On my RH6 system, the zimbra user has the following crontab entries: # ZIMBRASTART -- DO NOT EDIT ANYTHING BETWEEN THIS LINE AND ZIMBRAEND SHELL=/bin/bash #...

calendar notification emails missing

Hi Everyone, I have a Zimbra OSE 8.8.15 server and calendar notifications seem to be broken. The web gui pop-ups work ok, but sometimes the notification emails are not sent to the user. When I look at the logs, there is no mention of the calendar email at the time of the event. It's almost like what...

Re: calendar not sending notification emails

OK, so.... It looks like the entries imported from the zimlet aren't the only ones that are broken. There are lots of manually entered appts that have failed and they all have the "d3:apei" formatted metadata. I guess I can't blame the zimlet. Maybe it's making a "calendar entry"...
