Outlook 2007/2010 crashes on exit
Hi, we have many users using Outlook 2003/2007/2010 with ZCO. Both 2007 and 2010 users have a weird problem: When they quit outlook, it seems to shut down normally but then displays the crash dialog (Microsoft Outlook has stopped working and needs to be closed" or like that). It happens with al...

Outlook reverts to old draft when sending
Hi, one of my customers reports the exact same problem (although she's not sure whether it only happens when switching from plain text to HTML). For her, it happens maybe once every 2-3 weeks or so. She writes a mail and after sending it, she looks at the "sent" folder to be sure the mail ...

[SOLVED] Upgrade 5.0.19 > 6.0.6 hangs on "starting mysql..."
Sorry for the late reply, it was 3:39 am here, I was asleep. Thing is, I don't really have a clue about LDAP. We're just using Zimbra for mail and for the ability to have calendar and contacts in sync. Also, I didn't get a detailed report or log about what the support guy did (he ssh'ed into the ser...

Does unscheduled full backups - why?
Hello. My Zimbra server on 6.0.6 has the default backup schedule - it does, however, additional full backups, and I don't know why. See here: [zimbra@email ~]$ cd /opt/zimbra/backup/sessions/ [zimbra@email sessions]$ ls -lahtr total 120K drwxr-x--- 6 zimbra zimbra 4.0K May 15 05:45 full-20100514.230...

[SOLVED] Upgrade 5.0.19 > 6.0.6 hangs on "starting mysql..."
I don't really know what was wrong. He said somehow there was no LDAP data, and that he imported it manually, re-running the install.sh afterwards. But I have absolutely no clue what he did in detail.

[SOLVED] Upgrade 5.0.19 > 6.0.6 hangs on "starting mysql..."
So it turns out this problem is bigger than I thought. I opened a support ticket and was helped only a few minutes after.
Thanks Rick from Zimbra Support for your great help!

[SOLVED] Upgrade 5.0.19 > 6.0.6 hangs on "starting mysql..."
Hello. So I started the upgrade grom 5.0.19 to 6.0.6 Network Edition on CentOS 5 x64. Everything ran smoothly so far, but now it hangs at "starting mysql...". I had a look into /opt/zimbra/log/mysql-error.log: 100424 16:57:48 [Note] /opt/zimbra/mysql/libexec/mysqld: Normal shutdown 100424 ...

Upgrade from 5.0.9 NE on CentOS 5 x64
Thanks for your answer.
So I take it all config files and third party binaries (amavis etc) are somewhere in /opt/zimbra? That'd be great. I guess copying that directory will be what I'll do then. Thanks.

Upgrade from 5.0.9 NE on CentOS 5 x64
Hi there, our server still runs 5.0.9 which is pretty out of date. Sooner or later, I'll have to upgrade. Also, I am affected by the ClamAV version thing (I disabled AV now). To cut it short, it's about time. I have to admit, I'm a bit afraid of upgrading. As far as I've read, it's not much more tha...
