Migrating from Zimbra to Exchange - how to transfer the existing e-mails?
Thanks, IMAPSYNC is pretty much what I've been looking for. I feel a bit stupid that I didn't stumble across it by myself. I wasn't thinking about IMAP though... Anyway, thanks a lot!

Migrating from Zimbra to Exchange - how to transfer the existing e-mails?
Hello everyone, I'm sad to inform you that after a test run of about three months the company which I work for has decided to get M$ Exchange. I do not agree with the decision and I can't understand it. I really like Zimbra and the support & goodwill they've shown so far. I'm now in the position...

Renaming only the MTA hostname in a multi-server setup
Hi everyone, maybe someone can help me shed some light on this issue. I do have a multi-server setup with the configuration split into one mailstore/ldap server and one mta/av/as/proxy server. I would like to change the hostname of the mta server. At the moment it does have a hostname that is part o...

Contact's "business" e-mail address is useless?
Hi Bill,
I know it won't get resolved without a bug report. Since I've already filed a support case for this issue I'll let the Zimbra engineer file the bug(s) if necessary to avoid creating duplicates in Zimbra's bugzilla database.
Best regards,
Timo

Contact's "business" e-mail address is useless?
Mike, I definitely agree. It seems like the changeover to the new address book layout/functionality comes fairly untested? At least I've found yet another bug - which IMHO is even more grave since it involves deleting user data: [QUOTE] Zimbra can actually delete user data when you update a contact ...

Contact's "business" e-mail address is useless?
Hi everyone, I've also filed a support request for this but I was wondering, while the Zimbra engineers are looking into it - has anyone else experienced this behaviour: [QUOTE] We initially installed 5.0.18 but recently updated to 6.0.1. Since then my users have been complaining that the auto-compl...

ZCS 6.0.1 Problem when clicking on a e-mail address in address book
Hello everyone, I do have another problem - could you please try if you can reproduce this: 1. Open private address book. 2. Select a contact with an e-mail address. 3. Single-click on the e-mail address. 4. Zimbra opens about 10 compose windows with the e-mail address filled into the TO field. Comp...

ZCS 6.0.1 Auto-complete problem with "business" e-mail adresses
Hi everyone, we just recently updated our Zimbra installation to 6.0.1 NE which went very well. The only problem our users have been complaining about is related to the address book and partially to the auto-complete feature when putting text into the TO field. Steps to reproduce this: 1. Create a n...

[SOLVED] Server Status connection refused in admin console
I solved the problem by setting zimbraLogHostname to the right hostname. After installing the logger on the mta zimbraLogHostname was set to mta.company.com.
zmprov modifyConfig zimbraLogHostname mailstore.company.com
Did solve the problem - without re-installing everything.

[SOLVED] Server Status connection refused in admin console
I know there has been a similar thread before that has been marked solved (here). The author of the thread solved his problem by complete re-installation of the ZCS which at this time is NOT an option to me. We're in the process of evaluating ZCS Network Edition and so far we like it. The problem I ...
