How to save emails - forced to leave Zimbra account
True. The .eml file format may change. But, at the very basic level, you have a plain-tect RFC-822 compliant file, which means it's well documented and you could (when the day comes) most likely be able to script something to parse that. OR, the mail message wasn't just text, and had some binary att...

How I can see mail quota in my Zimbra desktop?
Try this. Go to your ZD directory (the "server" side, not the user) and find a file called skin.html in the jetty/webapps/zimbra/skins/_base/base2 directory under that. Open this file and find a line that reads as following: (it's line #25 in my install) change it to take out the comments ...

Domino folders imported as "unknown" view type and empty
Hi all, I just ran the Migration Wizard for Domino on a Domino 8.5.2 to a new ZCS 7.1.0 install and our test user was created ok but the email folder hierarchy was created with unknown type and are shown as empty in the web UI and when I run zmmailbox getAllFolders, they are shown as UNKN type view ...

Hi Dipesh,
1.- Yes, it's as straightfoward as that. There is a number of forum posts on the subject.
2.- Yes. Just beware that you would need to stay withing the 50-account limit of the trial license.

Calendar's
you could use zmmailbox with getAllFolders on your accounts and see how many items are in the appointment-type folders, any non-zero value should indicate the calendar is being used for example [zimbra@mail ~]$ zmmailbox -z -m user@domain.tld getAllFolders Id View Unread Msg Count Path ---------- --...

[SOLVED] Calendar meeting displayed/created in wrong timezone
There's a timezone setting in each domain, each COS and each user's preferences. Make sure they're all aligned.
This could be the consequence of skipping this parameter when your ZCS was first set-up.

Error deploying zimlet
I had some problems deploying some Zimlets. After a few tries it turned out that the DNS information was insufficient, I needed to specify search and domain parameters in the ZCS server's /etc/resolv.conf

Poll for Insight
Our company uses iPhones, but at our customers I've seen all the cases listed in the poll. From what I've seen iPhone and Android devices work best, Windows Mobile and Nokia N-series are OK. Blackberry via IMAP is simple enough, though I can see users wondering why their calendars and address books ...

Automated appointment reminder?
Ok. I don't think that there's a way to automatically do this, though I admit it would be a cool feature to have. Perhaps it can be done via a Zimlet, I don't really know. One thing you can do "in the meantime" is, using ZCS7, you can create the appointments and choose the "Save"...
