Re: Recovering Zimbra 8 OpenSource edition after system failure
Do you have a zimbra.repo file in your /etc/yum.repos.d directory? And, if so, what are the contents of the file? I believe the original contents of the repo file for 8.8 was [zimbra] name=Zimbra RPM Repository baseurl=https://repo.zimbra.com/rpm/87/rhel8 gpgcheck=1 enabled=1 I have two further repo...

Re: Attack? CLI commands injection during SMTP connection
I wonder if these files are native zimbra or some sh..t planted by the attackers. Especially since I had many /opt/zimbra/zimlets-deployed/ files fired and blocked. Or is this zimbra native file: mailboxd/webapps/zimbra/public/version.txt First check the /opt/zimbra/mailboxd is still a link to /opt...

Re: More XSS vulnerabilities: vote for content-security-policy
There is a request at pm.zimbra.com to implement Content-Security-Policy: https://pm.zimbra.com/p/zrfe-44-support-for-content-security-policy A bit redundant/repetative perhaps, but I call on people to upvote or comment on the issue. It is a far better solution than the endless whack-a-mole that's ...

Re: Zimbra 10.1.18 Released - Please Post Your Patch/Upgrade Results Here
The release notes for the patch refer to Addressed CVE-2026-49975, a vulnerability that could lead to denial-of-service attacks via malicious HTTP requests. This update includes enhancements to improve system resilience and protect affected environments from potential denial-of-service conditions. A...

Re: Question about zimbra-foss-builder repo split
zimbra-foss-builder is owned by Maldua/BTactic - not zimbra/Synacor.

Seems like a dodgy thread

Re: A bunch of mails sent by root@domain.com
Do you have a lot of CRON jobs running under root? You could try running (as the root user) crontab -e and adding a known mailbox as the sender/receiver of the CRON emails. Place the MAILTO/MAILFROM at the top of the crontab file MAILTO=myMailbox@mail.domain.com MAILFROM=myMailbox@mail.domain.com Th...

Re: A bunch of mails sent by root@domain.com
If you send an email to root@mail.domain.com - what happens to it? When you see - Apr 4 00:05:02 mail postfix/qmgr[15784]: ED91B802A9: removed - it just means that delivery to the mailbox was successful so it was removed from the mail queue. Do you have an account for root@mail.domain.com? Do you ha...
