Hey Folks,
What's the best way to use zimbra for only calendaring & addressbook only ?
Might do briefcase thing.
Would I just install and not have to worry about the email aspect. Afterall I'd only then need ports 443 and 7071/22 for admin use ? yes/no
What say you all ?

How To Run Multiple Physical ZCS FOSS on Dynamic IP
Simple, I have introduced zimbra to small businesses. They like it and buy their own box to run it. They want me to manage the box for them. Just how they are. I wont burn IPs if I don't have to. Now back to the issue. I simply what to run at least 2 physical boxes via a dynamic IP in my office. As ...

How To Run Multiple Physical ZCS FOSS on Dynamic IP
phoenix & anudeep@itopstube.com Here's the deal. Per phoenix, is there a way to get the 2nd zimbra install to transmit email ( relay email ) via a different port besides 25. Is this why I have to open 25 on my fireway becasue zimbra uses it under the hood to relay emails from zimbra outward ? Du...

Problems with time zone and attachment size.
Same admin gui area lets you set the timezone as well. I'm sure there is a command line way as well or both parameters too. Iwill try to look it up in the online administrators manual and post.

If you look in the gui configuration, I dont recall the section but you can specify the size of emails. All in all dnt make this too big because you will have to interact with other mail systems that might reject your size. So if you allow say size 20mb emails. You send but receiving server might on...

I dunno much about your install but I will say this: 1. look at /var/log/zimbra.log If your message was rejected it should say something there. 2. In my setup I use zimbra to relay all emails via smtp from my real server. As such after all updates I make it a practice to redo my smtp authentication ...

ZCS 8 no longer responding after Apache 2 install
Zimbra must be installed on it's own server and nothing else on it.
Did you install Apache on the Zimbra server after zimbra was installed ?
I didnt read all your wiki links so I hope my comment isnt too obvious

How To Run Multiple Physical ZCS FOSS on Dynamic IP
Ok, guys I might be wanting to do the unthinkable but here goes. I know how to run a physical ZCS FOSS on a dynamic IP behind a firewall (IPCop). Basically, I forward ports 25, 443, 7071, and 22 to the physical server. I know how to do this configuration with SplitDNS and all that. In my configurati...
