Zmmsgtrace replacement?

Thank you Phoenix, that's about what I expected after wasting a considerable amount of time searching for a solution. In case anyone feels adventurous enough to try their hand at using the above mentioned Perl modules, 2 things: first, good luck :D and post your results if you figure it out! Secondl...

Zmmsgtrace replacement?

Having been a Postfix email server admin for years, I was very excited when I first heard about Zimbra's zmmsgtrace command and its ability to trace messages that have passed through the system. Then, I read from Logger (ZCS 6.0.x and later) - Zimbra :: Wiki some disheartening news: [quote] zmmsgtra...

ZCS NE self signed certs: ca cert invalid for windows?

I too had a hard time getting the certificates into either Windows XP (w/ Internet Explorer 8) or as a Trusted Certificate Authority on my Windows Server 2003 Domain Controller. With my old system & self-signed certs, I could view the certificate in IE8 and click the 'Install Certificate', then ...

[SOLVED] Spam settings persisting through upgrades (Z 6.0)?

That's GREAT news uxbod. Right now, my postfix handles the whitelist/blacklist and the RBL's (all defined in the postfix config file main.cf). But I could just as easily move all of my spam settings into SpamAssassin. I guess I'll just have to keep in mind one poster's comment from http://www.zimbra...

[SOLVED] Spam settings persisting through upgrades (Z 6.0)?

I've been an administrator of a postfix/amavisd-new/spamassassin setup for years so I'm very aware of how little spam is caught under a default install of these programs. I'm *assuming* that Zimbra, since it's based off of these core technologies, would have a similar dismal spam blocking ratio (no ...

[SOLVED] How to set 'View Mail' button to use https?

I *think* the problem was I tried to do some of the more advanced sharing of ports between Apache and Zimbra before I decided to completely shut off port 80 for Zimbra. After trying your suggestion y@w and restarting all of the services, it worked like a charm. Thanks so much!

[SOLVED] How to set 'View Mail' button to use https?

I've been trying out the Zimbra Open Source Edition for the past two months or so and despite a few learning curves, I absolutely love it. One of the few remaining issues I have before I deploy it involves the 'View Mail' button in the admin gui console. I needed to run an apache instance on the sam...

GAL Browsing in 6.0

Thanks for the quick reply mmorse. I did have to alter the command a little by including my list name, eg: su - zimbra zmprov mdl zimbraDistributionListSendShareMessageToNewMembers TRUE But it worked out great since you also included that link to the wiki explaining what I was doing wrong. My next p...
