Re: Zimbra suddently extremely slow, multiples java process eat more than 100% Cpu, bug or compromized server?
"i've change nothing recently, except, one week before this problem appear, i've migrate the zimbra VM from proxmox 7 (with lvm storage) to new proxmox 8 cluster with zfs storage." I don't think Zimbra supports ZFS storage. Changing from proxmox from 7 with lvm to proxmox 8 with ZFS seems ...

Re: Any news on Ubuntu 22.04 support?
Hi,
while I do get your point, please remember that if you are really really concerned about security, Ubuntu 20.04 has expanded EOL till 2030 through UBUNTU PRO SUPPORT .

Re: zimbra 10 on BTRFS results in sql error
played a bit more with the "issue" and the solution is to make a copy of the /opt/zimbra/db directory and replace it with the copy, before you reboot the vm. So once the server is installed, do the following. # sudo su zimbra # zmctl stop # cd /opt/zimbra # mv db db_orig # cp -aR db_orig ...

Re: zimbra 10 on BTRFS results in sql error
Before changing MariaDb parameters as I already suggested (and that you ignored), be sure you disable any kind of Disk Cache mode in proxmox and give it a new try.

Re: zimbra 10 on BTRFS results in sql error
Actually, I was curious and reinstalled zimbra couple of times, (installed on the same disk as the system 32gb, 2nd installed on the external 100gb disk, all BTRFS formatted with default options) and in all cases the mysqldb was corrupt following a restart. Immediately after install, I can stop/sta...

Re: zimbra 10 on BTRFS results in sql error
If you are really sure Mysql was working and suddenly stopped after a normal reboot, I think your mysql got corrupted on reboot because it didn't turn mysql service off correctly. There is a lot to discuss about this, I suggest starting to give a look at innodb_fast_shutdown parameter. Of course, fi...

Re: zimbra 10 on BTRFS results in sql error
Hi,
stick to official supported filesystems, or be prepared and competent to get the consequences.
People can help you fix this specific issue, but you really don't know where you're going..
I don't want to seem rude, but please understand that BTRFS is a very-very complex filesystem.

Re: Zimbra 10 FOSS Installation Guide
Hi, I'm on ubuntu 20.04 with zimbra 8.8.15 P45 successfully working (just upgraded from ubuntu 18.04!) .
Can I download the build from https://techfiles.online/zimbra/ and install it? Should that work?

Re: Upgrading from Ubuntu 18.04 to 20.04
Instead of removing /opt/zimbra/jetty_base and using a backup, the better solution is to apt remove zimbra-store package and reinstall it from the downloaded zcs-8.8.15_GA_4179.UBUNTU20_64.20211118033954.tgz! So the complete procedure should be this: 1. On Ubuntu 18.04 - wget https://files.zimbra.c...
