Are you using hyper-v core or hyper-v on a full server install? If on core I don't know..if on full server install just use windows backup. That's what i've done for quite some time.

zdesktop sync with google apps lack of speed

is it normal for zimbra desktop to take over 3 days and not only be unfinished with mail sync but not even get the calendar data and contact data from google apps as well?
I'm on a core i-3 540 machine with 8 gigs of ram and 50/10 internet(that's constant speed not up to or bursts).

went a different way. got 7.2 operating so i could at least get to the user accounts..then i exported each one and am now installing a fresh 8.0/ubuntu LTS server into which i will import the user accounts..much quicker for me AND i get the assurance of an undamaged install..:)

Major oversight on my part. i did not notate what version i had installed when i had a massive failure at my church's zimbra server. I have the data back but i need to know what version of the system i had. I have the full file listing. How can i tell what version i had installed from a file listing...
