If you are still having issues, turn on debugging. For whatever reason my crashes stopped when I did this

We had a little issue where the process thread limit was too low on a vanilla Ubuntu 10.04 install and caused Zimbra's internal LDAP server to crash. Gave us a world of headaches, so that's something to be aware of

We're an MS gold partner, so we have to use the latest and greatest or else be unlicensed
We found yesterday that turning on debugging "just worked" with the user setup. Not sure why, but you can turn it off after the setup with no ill effect.

I can't find anything around. Was looking for a Java library myself a couple of weeks ago. Looks like you'll need to do it yourself. Good news, though, SOAP and REST libraries do exist in .NET, so once you wrap your head around them it shouldn't be too hard
