Re: How to run z-push on zimbra jetty: Proof of Concept

I'm a little late to the party, but this looked like a good idea, so I'm working on it. This is what I think I've been instructed to do: install php-cgi php-process Edit /opt/zimbra/conf/php.ini magic_quotes_gpc off register_globals off magic_quotes_runtime off short_open_tag on cgi.force_redirect =...

Google Calendar App with my Zimbra

Hi Gren, Those two references are spot on, and lead me to believe that I won't be able to do what I want. Damn shame. Even if I share with an "external user", meaning read-only, no need for credentials, there is no display, although it almost looks like it is going to work. But, what is ha...

Google Calendar App with my Zimbra

Update: I have a URL, which when manually pasted into the browser address bar prompts the return of "Calendar.ics". and that is a step forward. So, I now believe that I have no configuration problems, but it is still not clear why the Google Calendar app responds with "loading..."...

Google Calendar App with my Zimbra

Hi Folks, I seek to register my Zimbra calendar for use with Google Calendar. This is done by adding the Zimbra calendar "by URL". I have determined through calendar properties that my URL must be https://<server:port>/home/<email address>/Calendar but that will not work in the Google Cale...

Zimbra Community v. Zimbra Collaboration Server (Community Edition)

Hi Folks, I have ZCS (Community edition) 8.0.6 running and I'm quite pleased with it. I hear of "Zimbra Community" and I'm lead to believe that this is a different animal than Zimbra Collaboration Server (Community Edition). What a tragically poor evolution of names... Am I right? ZCS is a...

Authentication to relay

Hi Folks, $ zmcontrol -v Release 8.0.6_GA_5922.RHEL6_64_20131203103705 RHEL6_64 FOSS edition. Recently I've begun to suspect that my Zimbra server is free-lancing. I see outbound message counts that I can't possibly explain. Also, I'm aware of the GNUTLS bug. I believe my server is set to permit mes...

Halt outbound traffic

Hi Folks, I think my server is free-lancing and I want to stop it. The reports show far more outbound messages than I can possibly explain. My next step is to identify some of this traffic. Is there a way to temporarily stop all outbound traffic without stopping inbound traffic? My strategy is to in...

decoding the maillog entries

Hi CC,
This is a help. I have so much to learn about this. The examples are well intended but fail to explain anything to me. I need a manual. I think I heard you say that the Administrators' Guide will be a good place to start. So, I will start there.
Thanks for your help,
Chris.

decoding the maillog entries

Hi Folks, $ zmcontrol -v Release 8.0.6_GA_5922.RHEL6_64_20131203103705 RHEL6_64 FOSS edition. I think my Zimbra server is free-lancing. This morning my "Daily Mail Report for <>" listed 34 received messages and 98 delivered during the 0600:0700 time period and none of that would have been ...

HI FOLKS, $ ZMCONTROL -V RELEASE 8.0.6_GA_5922.RHEL6_64_20131203103705 RHEL6_64 FOSS EDITION. RECENTLY I UPGRADED FROM 8.0.0 TO 8.0.6 AND IT WAS UNREMARKABLE, WHICH IS GOOD. I NOTICE A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN MY DAILY MAIL REPORT TITLED "DAILY MAIL REPORT FOR ", WHICH LEADS ME TO THE REALIZATIO...
