Re: Is there an upgrade to 8.8.15_GA_4562_FOSS?
There is not enough information there to know if there is a way to upgrade the 8.8.15 installation or if you have to rebuild. I'll have to dig around the net I guess but thank you for the information. As I've stated before, it's good to have self hosted email servers because running our own, we know...

Is this a fork??? I wondered if there might be but never found one. That's super interesting.
I wonder if there is an upgrade path instead of having to re-install completely.

Re: What is compromized in this situation?
For us it's easy, because we know we own/run the server but I can't imagine how many get caught because they aren't aware or paying attention to the little details. It's the crummy time for technology on a lot of levels right now. It seems it will only get worse. Cat and mouse games never end and th...

Re: What is compromized in this situation?
Thanks, very very useful information. My question however was a bit different, I'm just wondering about the timing of what happens, it almost seems like a man in the middle setup. I rarely sign online contracts and just after I did a while back, I started getting the fake emails asking me to sign mo...

Re: Can latest Zdesktop be used with foss?
Can someone please explain what this means; FOSS build doesn't contain modern client license.
I don't know what 'license' means so can only assume the person means ssl/tls certs?
I'm only using this over the local LAN.

Re: Can latest Zdesktop be used with foss?
I'm all internal on the LAN if you mean SSL/TLS. I don't use those internally so would it work in that case?

What is compromized in this situation?
More and more lately, I'm receiving emails telling me that I've been blocked from the Zimbra server or need to update my account and other actions that would require credentials or other personal information. This seems to be from spammers/phishers that are simply looking at the headers then trying ...

Can latest Zdesktop be used with foss?
I think it's called foss, the open source version of Zimbra, 8.8.x,
I'm currently running desktop version 7.3.1-ga and cannot find an update other than this one;
Zimbra_Desktop_4.35.0_6d131e7df_20231130182115.exe
Is this actually an update and can it be used with the Zimbra 8.8.x server?
