Re: Strange Behavior On An HTML Email (solved w/workaround)
I've marked this thread as "solved w/ workaround", because it's not really solved. It is simply disabling a feature. The real problem seems to be HTML formatted email generated by Zimbra's web client. With my particular problem, the user created an HTML formatted email, which apparently wa...

Re: Strange Behavior On An HTML Email
Sounds like it could be css/display ... see this thread to see if that is it. https://forums.zimbra.org/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=66613 With recent patches, there is suppose to be a method to allow us to work around this problem. This is the text that showed up in many of the recent release notes fo...

[Resolved]Strange Behavior On An HTML Email (solved w/workaround)
Hello, We're running a Zimbra server, Release 8.8.15.GA.3829.UBUNTU16.64 UBUNTU16_64 FOSS edition, Patch 8.8.15_P2 on Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS. I have a strange problem with an email that a user sent. It was created with various fonts and colors, generating an HTML format email. The person sent the email,...

Suddenly, Horrendously Slow Server - Errors in zmmailboxd.out
Hello, I have a vm server running ZCS Release 8.8.10.GA.3039.UBUNTU16.64 UBUNTU16_64 FOSS edition, Patch 8.8.10_P8 on Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS with Z-PUSH 2.5.0+0-0 with zimbrabackend68. I have Apache running as the front door door on the server which either reverse proxies to Zimbra's proxy server or run...

Re: Possible Bug - nginx proxy not seeing memcache when DoS workaround applied
That would definitely work, as would adding a deny rule on a gateway server, if installed. Though, on a busy Zimbra server, adding iptable filtering could be the straw to break the camel's back. Once turned on, whether the rule is for that connection or not, it will have to check every packet going ...

Re: Possible Bug - nginx proxy not seeing memcache when DoS workaround applied
This strikes me as being a bug. It is. What value is there to setting zimbraMemcachedBindAddress if it is ignored when nginx is configured? It does set the bind address on which memcached runs, just doesn't effect the memcached address which nginx uses. I'm not familiar enough with the innards of Z...

Configure Zimbra's Postfix for before-queue Amavisd scanning
I'm running ZCS Community version installation, version Release 8.8.10.GA.3039.UBUNTU16.64 UBUNTU16_64 FOSS edition, Patch 8.8.10_P6. I find plenty of postfix documentation for doing this with vanilla postfix, but does anybody have any insight to how this may be accomplished under Zimbra? Any help w...

Possible Bug - nginx proxy not seeing memcache when DoS workaround applied
Hello All, I just found a problem while troubleshooting another issue. For some reason, in the nginx.log file, I found it littered with the error "no memcache server available". I remembered modifying the memcached IP address to 127.0.0.1 to mitigate DoS against memcached (per https://wiki...

Re: Keep getting pop up "Do you want to update your notification permission"
Hello, I'm wondering if you ever found out what was causing this popup. I have an office full of people, none of whom changed their browser settings (though chrome updates itself a little too frequently), who all of a sudden started receiving these "update your notification permission" pop...
