Zimbra Webmail Performance: Troubleshooting
@j2B hah you sound like our linux infrastructure engineer! not willing to spend any money and putting all the onus on us! In this case we have seen performance decline drastically in the last few weeks so something has changes, in that case we have migrated 200GB mail into the stores and all of a su...

Zimbra Webmail Performance: Troubleshooting
Thanks guys. We implemented all recommended without result. Loading httpwatch we see the bottlenecks are with our Zimbra server posting back get requests so I'm probably not the best person to comment on how effective these fixes are. All I can say is that *if* you are experiencing latency in the br...

Zimbra shared folders: Anyway to stop them downloading/synching with Connector?
IMO this is a big disadvantage to exchange Public folders which arent cached. We have been trying to push the positives of Zimbra but so far their business case for using Outlook has been strong, and now they want to go back to exchange because 30 ppl all need access to shared folders but dont want ...

Zimbra Webmail Performance: Troubleshooting
We have a number of clients that use Zimbra webmail on a terminal server and are complaining of its performance in opening mailboxes and mail items. We have checked the WAN bandwidth and they have plenty, so it looks like shared resources and caching are a major concern on this Terminal Server. We a...

Zimbra shared folders: Anyway to stop them downloading/synching with Connector?
Am i the only one that thinks Zimbra shared folders have one huge inherent flaw when used within Outlook with ZCO? YOu can share any folder with anyone, and straight away that person will start downloading that folders entirety. They dont get the option. A zdb is born and download begins. Even if it...

ZCO 8.0.7 causes Outlook 2010 crash
We are still having outlook 2013 crashing with 8.0.7 ZCO. Sometimes opening outlook in safe mode restores the connection but right now we have a freshly migrated company wanting to go back to Exchange after all these issues so we are in desperate need of a fix. Where can we find ZCO 8.0.6? We are wi...

imapsync or ZCSExchangeMigrationWizard
imapsync can do public folders. Just create an exchange account and subscribe it to all the public folders. imapsync will sync all inbox and all public folders the person has access to. Migrate all the public folders to the equivalent mailbox on zimbra, then change the user account on zimbra to a re...
