Re: Fresh new installation, error in during install, missing License Daemon Service
I hit the same issue. Following umashankar's suggestion, I realised that I am running an Uyuni package server. So the Zimbra repo was not added. Verify that you have the required zimbra repo added and in use. Try a `dnf repolist` to check. Note that if you use --platform-override the repos will not ...

Re: Read Email Queue
I doubt this is still relevant but wanted to share my experience as I had something similar today (but probably not 100% the same) and this was the first post showing up on google.. My case: I spotted a deferred mail coming from localhost with "mailer-daemon" going to a spammy looking/unus...

Re: Upgrade from Zimbra 9 to 10.1 /RHEL7 to RHEL9
Not sure if I misunderstand you or not. I am aware that there is currently no Zimbra version for RHEL9! This post is for planning upfront because planning and testing also takes time. So whatever I can do before the release saves time later. My understanding: Only Zimbra 10.1 will support RHEL9. Or ...

Upgrade from Zimbra 9 to 10.1 /RHEL7 to RHEL9
Hello Zimbra Team, Can you please share your thoughts of how to best upgrade from RHEL7/ZCS9 to the latest setup of RHEL9/ZCS10.1 (once available)? I doubt that ZCS9 will come to RHEL9, which for some strange reason, I had always planned. At the moment, I am looking at this approach: (Based on https...

Re: Fix for Postfix crash in 9.0.0p13 FIPS mode
@rjeth0, you saved me on this one. I just hit it updating the system to fips. Can you please tell me how you managed to identify the root cause? I only found the smtp[71426]: segfault at 0 ip (null) sp 00007ffe6f939918 error 14 in smtp[400000+88000] and couldn't really do too much with that informat...

Re: Integrating Hello World Example App
ok, quick update from my side: 1) there was a caching "issue". Now the JavaScript alerts do pop up. 2) The call AjxPackage.require("zimbraMail.helloworld.ZmHelloWorldApp"); in Startup1_2.js seems to be failing 3) The browser shows a 404 error on localhost:8443/js/zimbraMail/hello...

Integrating Hello World Example App
Hello Zimbra Community and Zimbra Devs, can you please give me some indications on how to get the sample Hello World App to work? (can be found under https://github.com/Zimbra/zm-web-client/tree/develop/docs/dev/custom/addapp ) I am using the latest develop branch and I claim I followed all the inst...

Re: Installation Fail Under User Account
ok, got the installation to work. Steps:
1. Add user to group zimbra.
2. Install/reinstall Zimbra Desktop as root
3. Run data setup script as user
Now when starting I get the error message:
"localconfig.xml zimbra_admin_service_port not updated by jetty !"
Let's see how to solve that one

Re: Installation Fail Under User Account
Hi rolo, I am experiencing the same issue on the latest Centos 7 packages. Did you manage to get anywhere and find a solution? The way I see it, you are following the instructions the same way as I am: - Installing Zimbra Desktop as root - Installing the user directories as root. I will keep trying ...
