Re: Very High CPU Usage
Well, I tried running an old kernel just for fun, and it seems to have normalized the system load: uname -a Linux mail.example.net 3.10.0-693.5.2.el7.x86_64 #1 SMP Fri Oct 20 20:32:50 UTC 2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux top - 11:22:51 up 17 min, 2 users, load average: 0.70, 0.74, 0.82 Tasks: 203...

Re: Sending emails of an inavalid user to a valid user
why not make the fake address an alias of a real address? You can always delete the alias later if you don't need it anymore.

[SOLVED] Very High CPU Usage
Hello, I have a 8.8.8 Patch 3 installation, running as a VM with 12GB RAM, 4 cores, and 100GB of disk space, covering ~50 mailboxes (most are light usage, with about 10 users concurrently connected at any given time via IMAP). The OS is CentOS 7.4, with `cat /etc/centos-release` showing "CentOS...

Re: /opt/zimbra/postfix/ No longer exists in 8.7+
Thanks Phoenix! Just a confirmation before I do something stupid: /opt/zimbra/postfix/conf/postfix_reject_sender should now be /opt/zimbra/common/conf/postfix_reject_sender Correct? The /opt/zimbra/common/sbin/ directory doesn't look quite right for this file, unless I'm mistaken? And then postmap l...

Re: /opt/zimbra/postfix/ No longer exists in 8.7+
Hello Phoenix! Was your system upgraded to 8.7.5? I read 8.7.5 is now using postfix 3.x, and your's shows 2.11 still. Mine was a completely fresh install, and here's what I have: [zimbra@mail ~]$ zmcontrol -v Release 8.7.5_GA_1764.RHEL7_64_20170314032533 RHEL7_64 FOSS edition. [zimbra@mail ~]$ echo ...

/opt/zimbra/postfix/ No longer exists in 8.7+
Hello, I have a fresh install of 8.7.5 on CentOS 7.x. I'm doing my normal configurations to cut back on spam, etc. Many guides (for 8.7+) still reference the directory /opt/zimbra/postfix/ and other subdirectories under this such as /opt/zimbra/postfix/conf/ . The directory /opt/zimbra/postfix/ does...

Re: Reject Not Logged In - Except For Single Address
I have tried adding the service provider's IP addresses to zimbraMtaMyNetworks, however I think the list is too large and causes a timeout. The error on every inbound email was: Out: 451 4.3.0 Temporary lookup error Session aborted, reason: lost connection The IP address list is over 70+ IP addresse...

Re: Reject Not Logged In - Except For Single Address
Unfortunately this is our hosting provider, and they seem to have many servers which mail may be sent from, and it varies and is subject to change.
Is there a way to do this without needing to whitelist an IP Address? I need to whitelist an email address.

Reject Not Logged In - Except For Single Address
I have setup Zimbra to reject emails originating from users that are not logged in (spoofed emails). I have this setup in /opt/zimbra/conf/domainrestrict This has been working great (immediately cut spoofed emails). I now have a need to "whitelist" a single email address that will always g...
