Re: Email from one specific local user always moved to spam folder of another specific local user
If you are using IMAP for that account, please check on mailbox.log. I have similar issue and the problem is caused by IMAP on mobile devices. It seems my user mark as spam that email from email client on their mobile devices It does not even have to be the user, I've had instances where some kind ...

Re: Gmail / ActiveSync delete command loop sync causing sync issues and high CPU usage on mobiles and Zimbra server
Are you running the latest Patch? There have been lots of ActiveSync fixes... zmcontrol -v (See, it only takes me a year to answer!) Yes, we are, currently at: Release 8.8.15_GA_3953.RHEL8_64_20200629025823 RHEL8_64 NETWORK edition, Patch 8.8.15_P30. But I'd like to note that this seems to be a pro...

Re: Gmail / ActiveSync delete command loop sync causing sync issues and high CPU usage on mobiles and Zimbra server
I work with the same company as the previous author.
We still have this issue using Zimbra 8.8.15_GA_3980 (build 20201103043537), and we regularly reset phone syncing because of this.
Really, nobody else has this issue of phones getting stuck in a delete loop?

Re: Upgrade woes: JavaScript error encountered in method ZaOverviewPanelController.prototype._overviewTreeListener
A ticket with Zimbra very quickly solved this, I just hadn't redeployed the right package. Turns out com_zextras_zextras needed it, now the NG services work.ExTechOp wrote:Redeploying Zimlets (idea from some earlier threads in this forum) did not seem to make a difference.

Upgrade woes: JavaScript error encountered in method ZaOverviewPanelController.prototype._overviewTreeListener
When we upgraded from 8.8.15_GA_3945 to 8.8.15_GA_3953 (build 20200629025823) by installing P12, attempts to use the modules in the Network Modules NG section of the Zimbra Administration web console produce the error (without anything in the Detail section) JavaScript error encountered in method Za...

Re: Getting warning on LDAP Backup : invalid credentials
I finally ended up opening a new support case about this. I'll try to report here what the corrective action was. Turns out when you start out with an old version of Zimbra and update it to current levels, the zimbra local config item ldap_root_password never ends up getting set. You can verify thi...

"An unknown error has occurred" at login screen
Unknown_error.png This extremely uninformative error message "An unknown error has occurred" comes up when you try to log in the first time with Firefox onto our Zimbra server. Following attempts at logging in will work as expected. Nothing seems to end up in the server logs. Does anyone ...

Re: Display Email Addresses in place of Display Name
With malware like emotet now scrapping user address books we are seeing a great influx in spoofed display names. I know from a user perspective there is an option in preferences to turn of "Display Names in place of email addresses", which then displays the email address along with the di...
