the workaround with two cards (2 ip addresses, public and private) does not work

I have a standard zimbra installation but with two network cards (public ip and private ip). I would like to update without applying the workround.

doing the upgrade from 8.7.11 FOSS (Centos 7.3) to 8.8.5 the problem is still there
I'm back to version 8.7.11 with reverts on the snapshot
@Team zimbra development : will the problem be solved?

even to me the same thing happened, on two servers I had to do rollout through snapshot to version 8.7.11
if the problem is not solved I will not be able to upgrade
