External OAuth account (Microsoft 365 / Google) as IMAP or POP3
Hello @all, As you may know, this year Microsoft disabled Basic Authentication for POP3/IMAP protocols, so third party apps may access 365 accounts via OAuth2 only. Now in our 8.7 ZCE we have some users which added external 365 accounts as POP3 in Zimbra web client GUI in the past, but those account...

Re: CVE-2019-9670 being actively exploited
@elby and @sony2sony (and everyone intereseted in finding infected files) You can check your files against original ones from official .tgz, just extract the jetty part (for 8.6 it's in zcs-NETWORK-8.6.0_GA_1153.RHEL7_64.20141215151204\packages\zimbra-store-8.6.0_GA_1153.RHEL7_64-20141215151204.x86_...

Re: Some clarifications about DoS Filter: block IPs after a number of failed login attempts
Ok here is a brief recap after furhter analysis: 1. As pup_seba said, the feature only prevent an IP from logging into a mailbox. The offending IPs can still reach the server . 2+3. I still can’t found where banned IPs are cached. I can confirm that filtering mailbox log for “Access to IP xxx.xxx.xx...

Re: Some clarifications about DoS Filter: block IPs after a number of failed login attempts
Hello pup_seba, thank you so much for taking time to answer my questions! Yes, I already read Mark Stone’s article, that’s one of the sources I based my config on. I’ve no “suspended” entries in my logs so I suppose that something is wrong with my server. I’ll try to dig deeper, although I hope that...

Some clarifications about DoS Filter: block IPs after a number of failed login attempts
Hello all, I’m dealing with some brute force attacks on our 8.6 installation and I was trying to activate the IP auto-ban feature of the DoS filter, as the documentation says: “Starting in ZCS 8.5, you can block IPs for a period of time after a number of failed login attempts” Now I can’t really fin...

Re: Do not give up on external POP3 account after connection failure
Hello, it seems it is a network problem between or the account you tried to pop has no POP capability. See the message in the log : aused by: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out Regards, Yes, the read timeout accurs because the POP server is unreachable. What I want here is that the dow...
