Re: Installation Error

To fix the above error we can do two things: 1. Open port 11371 11371 tcp,udp hkp OpenPGP HTTP Keyserver 2. Force it to use port 80: gpg --keyserver hkp://keyserver.ubuntu.com:80 --recv-keys 9BE6ED79 Either way will allow the installation to continue. If you have further errors, you would need to l...

Re: Installation Error

Seems to be you are trying with "files.zimbra.org", it should be "files.zimbra.com" . Thank you. I realized that error. And I can now download the installer from the zimbra.com site using the wget command. So I for sure have a good internet connection. But I'm still running in t...

Re: Questions about migrating to a new server on a new domain

Thank you Mark! That does answer one of my questions! You mean about the SSL certs on the new server? I know there are lots of folks who use LetsEncrypt successfully, Jim Dunphy's scripts really simplify things, and for a single Zimbra server it's a really good way to go. But I personally prefer co...

Re: Questions about migrating to a new server on a new domain

Mark, Zimbra Support has confirmed that I would be able to use the SAN certs from a provider such as godaddy for this scenario. They also suggedted a free site called letsencrypt, but I'm not sure I want to go that route. Do you know if when I create the MMR, will my clients still be able to connec...

Re: Questions about migrating to a new server on a new domain

Good morning Mark, While I'm waiting on Zimbra support to get back to me about the certs question, I was wondering if you could please answer two more questions for me that I had asked kranium since you've been following this thread: "So basically if I point the end user's Outlook client to th...

Re: Questions about migrating to a new server on a new domain

OK, so first, I'm confused why you keep bringing up client certificates. Let's stick to server certs for the moment... If you have two Zimbra servers on two different domains, e.g. server1.mydomain.com and server2.anotherdomain.com, in theory you should be able to use a SAN cert with both FQDNs, bu...
