Thanks, this is probably a better way to phrase my question. I'd like to minimize the number of upgrades, especially if I'm uncertain whether the next LTS version will even be available as OSS.ghen wrote:At what point will Zimbra 9 (or successor) become the next LTS version?

Re: Change in EOL date for 8.8.15?
But that's not really your question. Your question is: DId the date change, why, and when does it actually reach EOL? Yes, and I do not know went that occurred, but I'll see if I can get my colleague jeastman to chime in. EOL is 12/31/2023 Incidentally, on a related note, I see that EOL for Zimbra ...

Change in EOL date for 8.8.15?
I'm just now getting around to taking seriously what I'm going to have to do to migrate our current OSS Zimbra installs either to a 3rd party OSS Zimbra v9 build or some other solution. But in the process I stumbled on something that I wanted to confirm, if anyone has any insight. From here: https:/...

Re: How to automatically send alert email to admin
A quick internet search found this: http://www.bachus.us/blog/2014/07/02/zimbra-abuse-alerts / - see if that does what you need. Though I was wondering one other thing -- is there any way to automatically lock an account that hit the cbpolicyd thresholds? Might be nice, because if the alert comes a...

That looks fantastic, thank you. I'll give this a shot and see how it goes.phoenix wrote:A quick internet search found this: http://www.bachus.us/blog/2014/07/02/zi ... use-alerts/ - see if that does what you need.

Re: How to automatically send alert email to admin
The article shows how to limit emails when an account is hijacked, but that doesn't help much if nobody notices it.
Is there a way to alert an admin when the threshold is triggered? Or to automatically lock the account?
Slowing a hacked account down is only half the battle!

Re: Zimbra 9 Modern Client in Network Edition Only
I was reading about the upcoming Zimbra 9 release in the public documentation being planned. In the documentation, I ran across the following presentation: https://zimbra.github.io/zimbra-9-beta/Whats%20New%20in%20Zimbra%20MWC.pdf Based on this presentation from March 2020, it looks like the upcomi...

Thread title is awfully prescient in hindsight, and it only took *checks watch* just over 3 years to finish the job.
