Is there a way to remove the COMIC font from the choices of fonts allowed in mail creation preferences menu ?

Asking as a general service to humanity here

Reading about the 8.8.10 there are two questions I can't see the answer for:

- Shall we upgrade from 8.8.9 to 8.8.10 ?
- what is the upgrade process from from 8.8.9 to 8.8.10 ?
