SOLVED: Administration Console webapp falsely reports not running services
Hi, that problem is often caused by wrong permissions on the filesystem or missing lines in zimbra crontab. Take a look here https://hazaq.me/zimbra/2018/02/02/Zimbra-Server-Status.html or search for "zimbra server status not running" on Google, there are many blog posts that can help you...

Administration Console webapp falsely reports not running services
Hi, After I migrated a server (ZCS 8.8.15) to a new installation and initially everything running smoothly, the Administration Console (https://...:7071) now wrongly reports "Some services are not running". For the migration, I followed this docs: https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/How_to_move_Z...

SOLVED: Re: 25 false and old Disk /var at 90% notifications sent by zimbramon
Well, it was solved by itself. After restarting the server, it sent the old 25 messages only one more time.
Cheers,
Pedro.

25 false and old Disk /var at 90% notifications sent by zimbramon
Hi! I have found this issue coming up a few times before, but no clear solution. Our setup: we are running Zimbra OSE 8.8.15 GA, on CentOS; the /var partition holds /opt/zimbra. This is what happened, chronologically: 1. Our var partition usage went above 90% 2. The smtp_destination address started ...

Re: Mensaje de error de disco a 85%
Hi mmirallas, We are having a similar issue here, do you have any hints? 1. Our var partition usage went above 90% 2. The "smtp_destination" address started being notified by email every 10 minutes. 3. We reduce the usage to 57%. 4. The notifications stating the usage is above 90% keep com...

Calendar locations: no results
Hi! I'm trying to set up locations and resources for calendar appointments. Unfortunately, after adding a test location, it cannot be found on the "Find Locations" pop-up window (Edit appointment > Location button) We are using ZCS 8.8.9_GA_3798.FOSS, and I added the locations and equipmen...

Re: compromised account sending SPAM
Hi dparker, a couple of accounts with really easy passwords that were compromised First, I'd recommen you to set up password policies to avoid this: Configure > Class of Service > default > Advanced > Password: - Minimum password length: 8 - Minimum upper case characters: 1 - Minimum lower case char...

Re: ownCloud 10.1 integration with Zimbra (As of right now Zimbra only support ownCloud 10.0 but it is doable, does it?)
Hi yohoho, We started using OwnCloud first, but after a couple of months we moved to Nextcloud: it has the same codebase, it's compatible with the OwnCloud client so you can migrate your client installations as needed and, most importantly, you can try many of the enterprise features before purchasi...

Re: email filters: when are they run? only when user logs in?
Mail filters are run when an email arrives at a user's mailbox whether they are logged in or not, anything else wouldn't make sense. My mistake! you're absolutely right. The filter was not properly defined. As you point out, the filters run on the server, regardless whether the user is logged in or...

email filters: when are they run? only when user logs in?
Dear all, I set up a mail filter with the intention that it'd be automatically run on the server whenever I received a specific type of message. I am also using Thunderbird as an IMAP client, and I had previously set up a similar filter. I thought that the filters would be run on the server regardle...
