Broken zimbra after ubuntu upgrade
Hi I have managed to really break my zimbra installation so asking for guidance trying to recover or to see if I am wasting my time. Been running a small Zimbra 8.8.15 server in a container on Proxmox for several years now without any trouble. After upgrading my Proxmox cluster late last night it se...

Convert a resource mailbox to a regular mailbox
Hi
I have a requirement to convert an existing shared resource mailbox to a regular mailbox with its own dedicated login.
I can find details for converting a mailbox >> resource but not the other way round.
Is it possible without exporting and starting from scratch?
Thanks

Re: Spam quarantine?
Thanks so much for the comprehensive response Jim.
I will dig a little for these specific emails using your guide but ultimately I think I will just disable the Zimbra AntiSpam service as the Proxmox tool is a bit more manageable and gives the option for end user self-service.

Spam quarantine?
Hi I have Zimbra Network 8.8.15 sitting behind a Proxmox MailGateway device which is filtering spam / malicious emails. The Proxmox MailGateway permits the recipient to release emails from the spam quarantine stored on the gateway which then releases the email to Zimbra. One user has released severa...

Re: Invalid Character code in header
Apparently the amavis.conf file is generated by a cron job from amavisd.conf.in
Amending the latter file has made it persistent.

Re: Invalid Character code in header
Thank for all your help guys. Here's a strange one... I amended and set this to 0 in amavisd.conf: $defang_by_ccat{CC_BADH.",3"} = 1; # NUL or CR character in header However when I reboot the server it reverts back to a 1 Do I need to add it to amavisd-custom to prevent it getting overridd...

Hi I am currently trialling the Network edition with a view to replacing our exchange servers. We use an external email service for spam/malware filtering (Mimecast) which forwards the filtered emails on to our exchange servers. I have configured a single email address in Mimecast to forward straigh...
