I've faced the same issue in Zimbra 10.1 and I could solve it by using the method described here , i.e. by calling zmprov ma <account1> zimbraPrefSortOrder '' I am not exactly sure why this happens but since resetting the zimbraPrefSortOrder seems to solve the problem, I hope this also helps others ...
