I’ve compared the affected and unaffected nodes, and I don’t see any differences. $ wc -l *affected* 146 affected_s.txt 146 notaffected_c.txt 292 total $ diff -urN notaffected_c.txt affected_s.txt > comparison_result.txt $ cat comparison_result.txt $ wc -l comparison_result.txt 0 comparison_result.t...

Re: Zimbra 10.1.14 Released - Please Post Your Patch/Upgrade Results Here
I can provide information because I experienced the same issue. What command do you use exactly to become the zimbra user? It was of course su - zimbra run as root as always. The issue seems completely random - possibly some kind of race condition during apt update. I've patched about 20 Zimbra env...

Re: Zimbra 10.1.14 Released - Please Post Your Patch/Upgrade Results Here
I can provide information because I experienced the same issue. What’s strange is that I didn’t notice the problem after the patch to 10.1.13, but only after updating to 10.1.14 on this particular server. Right now, I have 2 servers out of about a dozen with this issue. zimbra@zimbra:/opt/patch20251...

Does anyone know why LD_LIBRARY_PATH is unset in .bashrc? cheers I’ve patched about 10 environments so far, and the same amavisd problem occurred on one of them but in my case, it’s with Ubuntu 22.04. LD_LIBRARY_PATH is unset in the .bashrc file by default and doesn’t cause any issues in other envi...

Re: I have a problem with imap NIO:zimbraImapMaxConsecutiveError exceeded 5
It’s worth checking whether your mail client is trying to access any non-existent folders on your account via IMAP. Sometimes, if a folder that was previously deleted is still referenced in the client, it can cause errors or syncing problems. You can quickly verify this on your server using the foll...

Re: zmmailbox : Exception in thread "main" java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
In case you’re wondering, the official support answer is:
“Zimbra doesn’t support export-import of large mailboxes in TGZ because of broken TGZ files and other I/O errors.”
and they recommend using CURL instead. Apparently, a 1 GB mailbox counts as “large” now.

Re: New patch - 10.1.8, 10.0.14 and 9.0.0 P45
In the release notes for 10.1.8, a "new feature" is announced: "Introducing a new feature, Delivery Status Notification (DSN). This feature allows users to receive success or failure notifications for sent emails." How exactly is this different from what was already introduced ba...

Re: New patch - 10.1.8, 10.0.14 and 9.0.0 P45
Local configuration `ajax_uri_max_assets_requests_allowed` has been added in regards to Dos security fix. Can you explain what exactly it does please? And the default of 20 is what; requests per second, minute, ...? Strangely I find no reference to this zmlocalconfig in any updated file, except for...

Re: New patch - 10.1.8, 10.0.14 and 9.0.0 P45
After installing Patch 45 for Zimbra 9.0.0, a new key called 'ajax_uri_max_assets_requests_allowed' appeared in the zmlocalconfig output with a value of 20. I have not found any information about this key on Zimbra's GitHub or elsewhere, so I assume it is related to the security update.
