SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 NAT Install HOWTO

I just put a SLES9 HOWTO up on the Zimbra wiki at: SLES9 HOWTO .
This HOWTO covers the case where the Zimbra box is NAT'd.
I would be grateful for any feedback, improvements and corrections. The wiki page covers our installation of 4.0.3 Network Edition.
Hope it helps...

No Vertical Scroll Bar in Mail Filter Compose Window

As you add rules to a single mail filter, the compose window grows vertically to accommodate the increasing list of rules. No vertical scroll bar appears in this window ever, so if you add enough rules you block access to both the title bar at the top and the control buttons below. At that point, you ...

Anti-Spam Postfix Enhancement Request

On our other (non-Zimbra) Postfix boxes, we use a lookup table to reject emails where the MX record for the sender's domain points to an A record with a private IP address. We have found this technique to be pretty effective, and it doesn't use a lot of resources either.I filled out a Bug Rep...

DNS Strategies and Best Practices, and a SLES10 Request
Not necessarily for NATd zimbra server, as my post here , my /etc/hosts file only have the private IP. Meanwhile, I did not touch any postfix configuration and postfix does not know my public IP. Haven't read the documentation though! I am a qmail user before ;) D...
By having the internal dns, somehow our local mail traffic is well diverted locally without going to the outside and back to the inside.
From the logs we see that the internal lmtp transport of mail takes place over the public IP of the server. We didn't ...

Zimbra on VMWARE = Rocking!

We run Network Edition 4.0.1 on a single OpenSuSE 10.0 VMware virtual machine, running on a SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 host. About 40 users so far and five domains. No problems so far. Plan to scale to several hundred users in the next few months.

Changing browser access from HTTPS to Both HTTPS and HTTP

The 4.0 manual does not document these two settings. What are the differences in functionality between the two, please?Ideally, we would like users to be able to go to either an http or an https site, be redirected if required to login in over https, and then continue to utilize https so that all com...
