download Brief case content for external users
"read-only" means that external users can access the Briefcase and download files. They can't upload files to the Briefcase, though.
When you share the Briefcase, in the sharing dialog, it will show you what URL to use in the external WebDAV / HTTP clients to access the Briefcase.

Zimbra, Android, and Syncing
If your company is using Zimbra Network Edition, get them to enable Zimbra Mobile support in your account. Then, configure the e-mail account as an "Exchange ActiveSync" account (not an IMAP or POP account). Point it at your Zimbra server, enter your username and password, and watch as it ...
Why is there a free 10-user appliance, but not a free 10-user open source edition? Since I'm running the open source edition on a VMWare server, maybe I should go to the appliance.
The Zimbra Appliance uses Zimbra Network Edition, which requires licensing. Thi...

Goodbye Zimbra - Hello Google
Just curious, if you are willing to pay for hosted apps via Google ... why you didn't consider paying for hosted apps via Zimbra. There are several third-party companies that provide hosted Zimbra, where they manage the installs and hardware, and you just manage the CoS setups ... just like with Goo...

However, get above a couple dozen users, sending a couple hundred messages a day, all logged into the web client for 8 hour...

Zimbra on iPad question
Anyone tried installing OperaMini on an iPad and using that to access Zimbra?
