Re: Changing primary DNS server

Everything else on my network is working fine with DNS with the new servers except for Zimbra. The issue appears to just be with outgoing messages. It seems like Zimbra is caching the old DNS server somewhere.

Re: Changing primary DNS server

Unless you have the Zimbra dns caching nameserver installed then the correct place would be your /etc/resolv.conf file or the network interface entry and that gets it updated when the network is started. What do I need to put in resolv.conf? It currently has: nameserver 127.0.0.1 search my.domain I...

Re: Changing primary DNS server

Looks like I found what I needed. I will need to edit /etc/network/interfaces.

Changing primary DNS server

Hopefully someone can help with this. I hope it's quite simple, but I haven't been able to find any information elsewhere. I'm changing to a new internal primary DNS server, and I'm not sure where to go in Zimbra to point it to the new server. When I do an nslookup on my Zimbra server it gives me: S...

Re: Android Email Setup

Release 8.7.11.GA.1854.UBUNTU16.64 I'm trying to set up on a Samsung using the Android native email client. I'm getting cannot connect to server. I know that I'm using the correct server name. I've tried the username with and without the domain name in front of it. I've tried with SSL and without. A...

Android Email Setup

Does anyone have good instructions on how to set up Zimbra email on Android? I have no issues getting it work on iPhone, but I've yet to successfully be able to do so on Android. I've tried to manually set it up as exchange. And I've tried to import the same certificate that I use on PC's for Outloo...

You have to set to zero..

Code: Select all

zmprov mcf zimbraMessageIdDedupeCacheSize 0
zmmailboxdctl restart

ccelis

Thanks for the help! That fixed it for me!

Messages not being received

It appears that we are having an issue where certain messages sent internally are not being received, even though there is no bounceback message. And when I run a zmmsgtrace it shows no indication that the message was bounced. There are no outlook rules set up, and the messages aren't showing in web...

Re: Security Groups showing in Outlook

Anyone have any ideas on this? I think it's a Zimbra issue, but I'm just not sure how to fix it.
