Hi, I have Zimbra 8.8.9 I'm going to upgrade but I never ever got DNS working on the Machine it's self so it relies on another server for a lookup of it's own domain name... this is silly and surely I can make the server aware of it's own domain name normally I would simply put an entry into the hos...

Upgrade 8.8.9 to 8.8.12

Hi, I would like to upgrade to 8.8.12 I have 100 Users and would like to use the new Address book feature as I host multiple organisations. I'm on Centos 7 what is the best way to upgrade and apply patches (if necessary) Also my system seems to be eating a lot of RAM I have webmin on and its showing...

I've installed the main patch but since I have the open source version and don't use Chat or anything I guess no need to install anything else ? what about the LDAP update ? Is that required ? Upgrade OpenLDAP on LDAP node for FOSS and NETWORK now my system info looks like this... [zimbra@newmail ~]...

I can't find how to download Patches 2 - 12 as I currently have 8.8.9 open source... Have you considered updating straight to 8.8.12? Just need the links for the install instructions, last time I did a patch i did it on the CLI... You can do it via the cli, it's in the release notes on the wiki you...

I've found this is this the way to easily patch ? I've disabled SSH for now until patced... also any logins are disabled after 3 attempts on the standard Zimbra ports, all other ports are disabled... 2. Installing zimbra packages with system package upgrades As root, type below command to clear yum ...

Nope it's not infected with ZMcat, I did enable fail2ban months ago with a custom config just for Zimbra so not sure if that helps at all...
What I did notice was that CPU usage dropped generally from around 8% - 20% down to 1 -2% after I enabled Fail2ban and Linux Firewall together

No I did not see the link to the Exploit in your links but will double check...

I've only used Zimbra for a year but I have administered email servers for 21 years mostly on OSX using GUI & CLI and terminal and I have never seen anything like this.

All very odd...

Really concerned that folders and email is seeming to just disapear, folders I guess could be accidentally deleted but folders which remain in the user account being emptied of email is very strange...

That doesn't output anything... [root@newmail ~]# su zimbra [zimbra@newmail root]$ zmprov -v prov> The customer does not use the web interface, Spam and Trash were set to delete in 7 days.... I have set to not delete now... The odd thing is in the customers outlook client the folders are still there...
