Hi All I am moving onto other pastures and will be stopping any involvement in Zimbra opensource community. It would be a shame to waste my efforts (for me, possibly the world will manage to carry on somehow), if anyone is interested in taking over the patches and documentation for my porting effort...

no, you cannot just run rpm upgrades, it's absolutely mandatory to run the install script. it would be nice to have an option to run it unattended, but due to it's complexity and the chance for things to go horribly wrong, thoroughly unadvisable.
