iSync problem with ZCS upgrade (7.1.4/7.2)
This seems to work: Solution: First make sure you have just one instance of System Preferences open. This bug can cause System Preferences to appear multiple times, so close the extra ones. Then go into Zimbra Preferences pane within System Preferences. In the field for your username, change the tex...

iSync problem with ZCS upgrade (7.1.4/7.2)
I should mention that CardDAV works well if you have Mac OS 10.7. So with 10.7, you can just set everything up manually and avoid the iSync connector entirely.

iSync problem with ZCS upgrade (7.1.4/7.2)
I moved the new portion of this thread since the old thread almost certainly was a different issue. Anyway, I'm seeing the same problem with a number of users, after upgrading from ZCS 7.1.3 to 7.2. So I would guess that this is an issue affecting 7.1.4 and 7.2. Possibly it's separate issues, but I ...

zmtrainsa --cleanup not fully cleaning up
I agree. The multiples of '30' are interesting. I'd suggesting opening a bugzilla report and posting the bug # here.

zmtrainsa --cleanup not fully cleaning up
I don't think I've had the problem for a long time. Partly in response to my observation, I started being careful to "mu" (mark unread) any message I had read in the spam/ham accounts. Ultimately I just set the option in both accounts to not mark messages as read when displayed in the prev...

Release 7.2 - RHEL5_64 being deprecated ?
Although Red Hat doesn't recommend or support it, they provide a document on how to do an in-place upgrade: Chapter 37. Upgrading Your Current System
Obviously I have no way of personally evaluating or recommending this procedure for Zimbra users.

[SOLVED] Is there a command to mark all messages as read
As y@w wrote, that isn't part of the POP protocol (as far as I know). It seems to be an option on the servers with which you are familiar. You may want to submit this as an RFE via Bugzilla Main Page - Zimbra but really, managing read/unread status is a job for IMAP.

VMware Staff Bugzilla Abuse or mismanagement
I suppose, and you could mention that, but it one could also call it an undocumented side-effect in ZCS 5, which later disappeared. Six of one, half dozen of the other, you will probably have more success calling it an enhancement than a bug. Better still if you can fix it yourself and share the res...

VMware Staff Bugzilla Abuse or mismanagement
Ordinarily I wouldn't wade into a discussion like this but I have to ask: does it say anywhere in the Zimbra documentation that FOSS allows search inside documents (of any type) which are stored in Briefcase? If not, then that doesn't mean that it's a bug, per se, if your kludge doesn't work in some...
