This is a known bug (Bugzilla bug 24698) and was fixed last week. The fix will be included in the next version of the connector.

I have seen this too. It seems like there is a bug with the version of iCal that ships with Leopard, but I have not yet been able to pinpoint exactly what causes it.

Okay. Without revealing anything private, what are the values you are using in the configuration pane?

Something is going wrong when adding the password you typed in to the keychain. Can you fire up the Keychain Access app, and verify that you can start that app without problems?

I just filed Bug 23841 - iSync Connector and Entourage 2008 create sync conflicts. This bug can be used to track this issue. Thanks very much for reporting the problem.
