Entourage 2008 -> ActiveSync -> Zimbra
Entourage uses WebDAV (an extension of http) to communicate with an Exchange server, basically via the same portion of Exchange that provides their "Outlook Web Access" web interface. So I don't think your proposal will work, technically. What I think could work would be to provide the bar...

now that CalDAV is supported, should I install iSync?
I am trying to understand the additional benefits of the Apple Desktop Connector given that both Zimbra and iCal now support CalDAV. With CalDAV (and IMAP + LDAP), we get: • Sync Apple Mail • Sync iCal • Access to the GAL via LDAP for Mail and Address Book. (LDAP discussed at http://www.zimbra.com/f...

Thunderbird - Lightning Tasks
I don't have a solution but another observation is that if you search for a task by name within zimbra, it will turn up and will even be identified as a task.
Also, iCal appears to store tasks in the same place as Lightning--each can see tasks created by the other.

Error sharing resources 0.92
In my case, I try to initiate a share from account A, allowing account B to access one of my folders, using the Zimbra Desktop client 0.92. Everything looks fine at this point. The folder even shows that it is shared when I look at its properties in the Desktop client. Now, I open account B using th...

ZD 0.92 Offline function doesn't work on Mac
Yes, this actually is a bigger issue than I thought at first since once you disconnect and "lose" the left hand panel, there's no way to delete the shared folders--at least through the GUI. In short, while it would be nice to have a facility that lets you relocate and mount shared folders ...

[quote user="mmorse"]that's resolved with ZCS 5.0.12.[/QUOTE] I am running 5.0.12 (Mac OS 10.4) and Zimbra Desktop 0.92, but I still see this problem. Can anyone confirm that it is fixed? EDIT: Please note I was confused when I wrote the above and my other post to this thread. I am running...

[SOLVED] filters not working on ZDC 0.92 (Mac)
Thanks for your reply. It is working now. I'm not sure why it wasn't before, possibly I was confused.

[SOLVED] filters not working on ZDC 0.92 (Mac)
Okay, I see that the deletion of forwarded messages is probably just an instance of the issue reported at Bug 9181 – Filters: forward with 'retain original' option
I'm not sure why the mail isn't being received at the forwarding address but I'm willing to believe something else might be going on.

[SOLVED] filters not working on ZDC 0.92 (Mac)
I'm using the client with ZCS 5.0.11 (NE). The server is an Intel Mac running 10.4.x. When I create a filter on the client, it doesn't do anything--incoming mail is not acted on in any way as far as I can tell. Checking the web interface, I also see that the filter isn't there. If I create a filter ...

ZD 0.92 Offline function doesn't work on Mac
Number 10 on that page reads, "10. When using Zimbra sharing, folder tree will not display if remote server is not reachable or there's a mountpoint no longer valid." So if I am accessing any shared folders (from other people's accounts), then offline doesn't work for me. That's pretty cle...
