[SOLVED] Annoying problem after update to 5.0.9

FWIW the whole IM system seems to be botched. I am seeing the same behavior using the Zimbra web interface. Constant presence updates. As a temporary work around I have disabled presence notifications. While that works for the web interface it does not propogate down to the Spark clients. Also, afte...

[SOLVED] Annoying problem after update to 5.0.9

Can someone at least point me to where you configure this service?

There isn't a lot left from its Jive roots so their support base doesn't

help much.

[SOLVED] Annoying problem after update to 5.0.9

We are using Spark to access the Zimbra IM subsystem. After upgrading Zimbra from 5.0.6GA_FOSS to 5.0.9 Spark now seems to log users out for inactivity. As a result there is a constant chiming and visual clue that users are getting dropped off repeatedly. Was there a tweak that was made to the IM sy...

[SOLVED] Why do some desktops force Standard Version?

[quote user="quietas"]800x600 resolution will force Standard. Above that can run Advanced. IE6 with Win2k or even Win Xp is almost unusable due to the slowness. MS in it's infinte wisdom did not provide an upgrade path to IE7 which is much faster with Zimbra. I have about 40 systems that a...

[SOLVED] Why do some desktops force Standard Version?

[quote user="mmorse"]Your profile still stays 5.0.6 - if you're still running that you can use the methods listed in Bug 28471 - option to disable redirect to lite client for 800x600 screens. If you've upgraded to 5.0.9 then use the zimbraPrefAdvancedClientEnforceMinDisplay FALSE attribute...

[SOLVED] Why do some desktops force Standard Version?

I have a few W2k boxes with IE6 and all of the pathes.

Java update 7 is installed. When opening the ZImbra web client they

default to the standard version and cannot enable the ajax version.

Any ideas what is going on? Thanks.

Thanks Mike. Always good to know those things. Also gives a little insight

into how to control and test the low level stuff which I always like to know.

Maybe I had an earlier version installed prior?

Anyway, works now.

[SOLVED] Couldn't start Yahoo! Zimbra Desktop server, giving up.

That is the message that shows when I try to launch the latest Zimbra Desktop.

I am running it under OpenSuSE 10.3. Where do I begin to troubleshoot?

Thanks.

File transfers using Spark and Zimbra IM

Not sure if this is solely a Spark issue or not.

When a user uses the send file option, the transfer

is abysmally slow. A user likened it to a 14.4 modem transfer.

I tested this also and got similar results. Any ideas where the

bottleneck may be?
