Maybe your /etc/hosts file is incorrect. Try to ping your Zimbra host and look for the IP adress in the output. Furthermore the zimbra mailboxd must be running.

Maybe you have set the option zimbraPrefDedupeMessagesSentToSelf to dedupeAll. You can check this through the Zimbra Web Client under Preferences -> Mail -> Receiving Messages -> Messages from me.

Do you use a http proxy to access the internet? Than you have to configure the proxy in Zimbra.
