that looks familiar. You might want to have a look at my workaround from [bug]109088[/bug] which resulted in PR zmmailbox/823 which is handled with the enthusiasm for external contribution we all know and love from the Zimbra Dev Team.

You can enable logging to syslog via the attribute zimbraLogToSyslog. That will log to localhost using the local0 facility.

That said, you should really upgrade your version of Zimbra.

You need to have the Notes client installed on the machine which runs the migration tool. Previously it was possible to download a stripped down variant of the DLLs from IBM but since they sold Notes all the download links are dead.
