Looked promising, but didn't solve my issue. Perhaps it'll fix yours.

My life would be measurably better if my users could search their mailboxes again. Is there anyone who can assist?

As I said above, no effect. Reindex still bombs (now it bombs for all users for whom I've removed the index).

If mailbox size/quantity are a factor, she has
~14,900 messages
When I go to reindex, it counts off the first 188, then says reindex complete (takes about 15 seconds)

Reindexing didn't help....still not resolved.

Upgraded to 7.10NE...search is still broken, forums still silent.
