Ouch.... Not the answer I was hoping for. I myself am a fan of Zimbra, but I am afraid that this may knock it out of the running. My peers want to use a client on the desktop, not just a Web version.

Is there a solution? What causes it? We are evaluating different email products and have narrowed it down to 3 and I don't want this to be the cause of Zimbra being knocked out of the running.

Sorry. I was running the old version. I uninstalled it and installed version 5.3, I have the calendar but now I can not get it to sync and I receive the following error. Thank you for the information. I downloaded the Zdesktop client, however I do not have the calendar. Am I missing something?

In cases where I want to use Thunderbird as my client for Zimbra, where can I obtain the Lighting or Sunbird Connectors to sync my calendar and contacts? I want to stay away for Outlook. Are there any other clients that will work with Zimbra?

We are setting up the trial Network Edition for evaluation and was wondering if there is a preference for the server OS.

Red Hat Enterprise, Mac OS, Fedora or Suse? Or any other OS?

We are looking at a new email/calendaring platform. Currently we use FirstClass:eek: as our email and MeetingMaker as our calendar. Does Zimba support resource calendars (rooms,vehicles).
