I've looked for some manual named "web users guide" or something that is referenced several places, but have not been able to locate it, either on this site or in the docs directory of the zimbra download. After scanning several messages, I assume that a user will log in to https://server/zimbra/mail. If so, I have a wee problem.
Currently, my dns (local) has an entry for toad.mydomain.com. I'm building this box for a client, so it thinks it is toad.clientdomain.com.
I try going to it by IP address (https://10.111.111.254/zimbra/mail) but no joy. I'm not even sure I'm using the correct address, but it seems to be. Does the server have to be accessed by domain name? Or can it be accessed via IP.
Also, where is the user documentation?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should be able to get to it by IP or DNS. The end user help is once you login to the app. There is a help button.

Thanks, I finally, by punching in random addresses, got it to login via https://toad (the name in my local dns). I put in the username and password, and it tries to go to http://www.clientdomain.com/zimbra/auth. I have no idea why. I'm going to rtfm some more to see why it insists on trying www instead of toad. I'll check this thread when I get up in the morning.
Thanks for the help. Wish the users guide was somewhere I could find before accessing the server.

You can get it off the file system. It'll be under /opt/zimbra/tomcat/webapps/zimbra
