Tomcat problem

Hi, i'm trying a fresh build from today's cvs on Debian 3.1, trying to get this thing working. I've got as far as installation and setup, and getting all the processes running. All the logs look fine, zimbra status says everything is running. But going to http://host:80/ or https://host:7071/ i get the default apache tomcat page. tomcat debug files attached.

oh. compared it with a working rhel4 install and discovered that tomcat still had the default sample stuff in work/Catalina and webapps/. removed the extraneous fluff and its working now! yay! at last!

Hi, I am stuck with the same sort of error message your getting and was wondering what you did to fix the problem.
I'm trying this on Debian Etch and any help would be appreciated.

are you really having the same problem? it looks like he answered your question before you asked it.
what do you see in these directories:

/opt/zimbra/tomcat/webapps/

/opt/zimbra/tomcat/work/
