It serves no useful purpose to move that to the 'home' directory, what do you expect that to achieve or what problem are you trying to solve?

The root directory is only 40GB in size, the home directory is 360GB

It seems rather strange to have a home directory of 360GB on a server, that should not need to be that size. Id suggest you reduce the size of the home directory to something like 20GB and use the rest foe a new mount point for the /opt directory structure and move your zimbra directory to that. In any case you will need some downtime for ZCS while you're doing this. You'd also need to do some research on how to achieve this before you do anything and also make sure you take a backup of any affected directories before moving them.

I'd certainly suggest not using the defaults when specing out a production server. They almost never make sense in such a scenario.

You could mount /opt/zimbra on another drive
