How to track emails sent in BCC?

Post by rcbrei »

Hello, Im sorry my first post was not clear, Im editing it.

This is what i wanted to do, ALL users outgoing email will be sent to one account for checking including emails sent in BCC,
regardless what mail client used (outlook, etc...)

First to give you details about my setup.
This is FOSS edition Release 8.8.8
Installed in a virtual machine, Centos 7. Would like to test everything in a vm first before implementing to live prod.

So this is where I am,
I created an account named "sent_items@mydomain.com" > this will be the account where all users outgoing emails be sent a copy.

in the "sent_items@mydomain.com" > preferences > filters > Incoming Message filters > created folder for each user. below ss is the filter details.
2.png

then on the per user filter settings,
example: first_user@mydomain.com > preferences > filters > Outgoing Message filters > ss below for details.
3.png

did this setting to all users.

then everytime a user send an email, the account sent_items@mydomain.com get a copy of the email sent.
see ss:
first_user@mydomain.com

sent_items@mydomain.com

now everything from above are doing great.

the only problem is, when a user send an outgoing email using BCC, that email dont show on the sent_items@mydomain.com.
please see SS:
first_user@mydomain.com sending email to admin@mydomain.com and BCC second_user@mydomain.com

but in the sent_items@mydomain.com, only the "TO" is present, no BCC
Image
the same happen when if I send email leaving "TO" field blank, this is the result,

as you can see only "From" is present, nothing else.

Do you guys think it is possible to track BCC emails?

Hi,

If there is no such feature to see the emails by using bcc, have you guys tried or know how to disable/remove completely the BCC option in outlook?
